It was either Pixiwoo or Lisa Eldridge that used this fantastic HD primer in one of their tutorials, after seeing the difference before and after on video I knew that when I visit the IMATS (which was great by the way) I had to get myself one.
I got it at half price which was really good and since Malta does not really stock up on any professional makeup I was overwhelmed by all the different brands at the IMATS, most of which I heard about through means of Internet (thank god!)
The primer I choose to get is the pink one which is suitable for all skin types, it's good if you are working on clients as that way you can play it safe. There are many other colours you can choose from, one for redness etc
It is a micro perfecting primer which is invisible on TV, so a must for any professional makeup artist working in the media industry, and also great for everyday as it is sheer and has a light texture enough to give your skin a boost and glow. It also dries quickly so you can apply makeup straight after.
Avoid applying too close to the eyes as it might irritate your eyes like it did to mine, though I still cannot confirm if it was the primer or not, maybe allergies in the morning or just my sensitive eyes. If you do have sensitive eyes leave the eye area out and dab a pea size amount elsewhere.
Be careful when applying, as the result comes from the application. Do not rub into the skin but smooth out making sure to lift the skins tissue upwards.
